September 12, 2009While setting up for a newborn session my two year old comes in and walks to me and says “My turn!” He then gets into this position for me to take the shot. I was only able to get two quick images but I really do love them both. I’m always happy when he wants to be photographed. Here is one of the two I managed to get out of him before he felt like our little session was over. Hey, I’ll take what I can get. Especially when they are this adorable….

September 4, 2009What is a casting call? A casting call is offered when I want to add a certain type of session to my portfolio or if I have new props and creative ideas that I would like to try out. They are intended to get a certain shot or image that I have in mind and the time spent during the session is mainly on capturing these images for my portfolio.
What is expected of the casting call clients? Must be willing to sign a model release as these images will be used in my online portfolio as well as other printed marketing materials. Keep in mind that this session will be focusing on getting some of the shots that I have in mind and I will spend most of the session trying to capture these images for my portfolio. If there is enough time to capture other things, I will be sure to get some of your favorite poses in as well.
What do the casting call clients receive? A complimentary newborn session in my home studio. (can last up to 3-4 hours, to allow time for diaper changes and feedings.) One free 11×14 print of your favorite image.
