Had a fun session with this family! This is part one of their session preview… we had to plan for a reschedule since we had an uncooperative subject, (wink wink) so I will be sharing more of this family when we confirm a session date.

I had a busy week last week and am still trying to get caught up adding pictures from those sessions to my blog. I will be posting more over the next week or so.

I am also trying to finish things up for the holidays in my own home. I still haven’t taken our family picture for our Christmas cards. I have just come to the conclusion that my cards will have to be late and I think I’d rather them be late and arrive after Christmas than not send them at all.

Here is my favorite group shot from this family session. We took pictures of the individual families as well and I can’t wait to share them. They were all adorable, such beautiful families.

It has been super busy for me. I have been slacking in the blogging department and adding previews and session updates has been pushed back while I continue to edit and prepare photos for clients. I have a few favorites to share from some of my recent sessions this past week.

I loved this session so much! This little four month old was a pleasure to photograph.  Her parents came with several adorable outfits for her. Little Miss “A” looked so cute in all of them.

Not really. (photoshoot gone bad, that is.) The story behind it goes like this- I quickly threw together this set-up, hoping to get a picture of my children before we left for our Thanksgiving dinner. Needless to say the four of them didn’t really want to cooperate. If one was paying attention and ready then another one was frustrated (namely the baby!) So out of the couple dozen that I took this was the best one. I may try this shoot again, hoping they participate a little better… but until then I thought I’d share this shot.

Newborn Session Preview - Arizona Newborn Photographer

My Saturday began with a fun session with these two beautiful girls. I love newborn shoots. I admit they are challenging and can be hard work but with the right amount of patience, we are able to capture images like these. Both of these girls were a dream to work with. Little Miss J slept the entire time and let us move her and position her without a fuss. And Little Miss M was a pro at posing and smiling so big.

Family Session

This storyboard turned out so cute! I love the mixture of the color pictures with the black and white pictures. It’s sized to 16×20 but can be reduced to an 8×10. This outdoor session gave me wonderful use of natural light and the location we used is beautiful.
