Meet sweet baby boy “J”
He and his momma came to visit me this week for a newborn photography session. He was quite awake and very alert throughout the entire session- he sure didn’t want to miss a thing!
But with a little bit of patience, we were able to capture some adorable sleeping shots of him
and I just LOVE these close-ups

Sharing some images of recently printed products. I’m very excited about having my product sample on hand and will definitely be showcasing more in the future!
First, I have examples of a mini 3×3 accordion album. These are perfect for gifts and are quite often used as grandparents gifts. Small enough to carry around in your purse, but big enough to make an impact!
What I love most about these is their magnetic cover.
This next example is a ’standout’
A standout is a thick lightweight board finished with a black plastic edge and comes ready to display with hanging holes on the backside.
My examples are sized 16×20 and 11×14.
The painting is finished but the walls are bare… I am so excited to begin the next phase of turning our spare bedroom into my new studio space. I can’t believe I’m so close to having a dedicated shooting area that will be filled with my images and studio examples! And lets not forget the advantage of having a closet full of blankets, baskets and wraps right within eye sight!! Seriously, I can not wait to open the doors to Kimberly Marie Photography for the first time since I began the journey of moving my living room set-up into a room all on it’s own. Let the fun begin!

Wow! It’s been such a busy week… I have done quite a bit to prepare our spare bedroom for transformation into my new studio. I’ve concentrated so much on that that I’ve been neglecting showing off more photos from the Baby As Art workshop. There is still one more sweet little model that I have yet to edit. Enjoy this one cute shot I captured of her for now, until I finish editing the remaining files!
And before I forget- When I start painting and arranging the new studio space I will be sharing photos of the process so be watching for that! Once the room is ready for clients I will be having a special for the first few newborns that I photograph in there! So much fun this will be- I am so excited!!
I couldn’t wait to edit more newborn images and share them… Newborns are my absolute favorite subject to photograph!

The following images are from the BAA workshop that I had the wonderful opportunity attending. This was the first model of day one. She was the sweetest little model who slept so well for us. These are some of my favorite shots I captured of her.
I can not begin to describe the experience I had while attending a Baby As Art workshop. I am still in overload with thoughts and ideas from those 2 days. So many things will be changing for me as a studio that I can not wait to begin working on. Won’t get into too many details about that yet but I have to share at least one shot for now so I quickly pulled one of the first shots we took and gave it my usual edit and thought- ‘Is there anything sweeter than this!’
I can’t wait to edit more of the gorgeous images that we captured during those two days, and I will do so soon, so be sure to check back often!

Had a fun session with this family! This is part one of their session preview… we had to plan for a reschedule since we had an uncooperative subject, (wink wink) so I will be sharing more of this family when we confirm a session date.

Had a great session with this little darling. Although she didn’t sleep for more than a few minutes at a time… we were able to capture some adorable photographs of her while she is still so tiny. Just look at her darling little curled toes, Love It!

I was so excited for this newborn session. I not only had the pleasure of photographing his momma’s maternity portraits but I was also asked to photograph his birth. Every time I am able to photograph new life I am filled with so my joy in my heart. Day 8 | Meet Baby “A”
I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Baby “A” yesterday. He is 8 days here and was such a delight during our session. Once he fell asleep, we were able to move him and position him into some adorable poses! He definitely spoiled me and I could have continued to photograph him for the rest of the day, his mom practically had to kick me out…. I was enjoying this session all too much!
